1. On November 21, 2007, Saigon Ve Wong passed ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Assurance Certification
In the past, there have been certain difficulties in Vietnam's international trading. However, with Vietnam's ascension to the ASEAN in 1995 and the WTO in 2006, these international trade obstacles have been removed. Saigon Ve Wong Corporate has strived to build competitiveness and quality by upgrading the production facilities of past products. More new business enterprises will be conducted in 2008:
(1) Starch Enterprise: Vietnamese agriculture product cassava is processed and further upgraded into value – added products ( modified starch, ethanol etc), which helped to boost farmer's income.
(2) Automatic packaging for instant noodles: By manufacturing high quality products, customers feel more assured about food safety and this further improves export competitiveness.
(3) Soy sauce: Expanding soy sauce enterprise. By using pure raw materials in manufacturing, it helps improve the Vietnamese's health and increase export competitiveness.
The current chairman's determination in corporate reform served as a gateway for new development for Saigon Ve Wong. In the future, the existing market base will be used for expanding sales channels and strengthening product R&D.
